"Imokuso" is a new tea ceremony school that has just opened in Kamakura.
Although it is generally referred to as "tea ceremony," there are as many different types of tea for each person, and what I am learning together with you all is the Omotesenke style.
However, even with the same preparation, each person's tea is subtly different, and even within myself, I feel that it changes depending on the time and what I'm thinking.
"I want to eat some delicious sweets, so I think I might learn the tea ceremony," "I want to relax in a quiet tea room," "I want to master the art of tea and Zen" - all of these are welcome and are considered to be fine teas.

What kind of time can be created by focusing on the simple acts of "simply boiling water, making tea, and drinking it"?
Each person brings their own ideas, and when they are fused together in the tea room, even if they are beginners or just learning, a "one-off tea ceremony that can only be created by that group of people" is created. Some people might call this a "ichigo ichie."

Well, first of all, don't think too hard about it, just come and have fun.
